What documents are required for Indians to get a visa?

Documents required for a Tourist Visa:
- Original passport with a validity of minimum 6 months from the date of return to India
- Old passports if there are any
- 2 passport-sized, coloured photographs as per the specifications
- Accurately filled visa application form filled by MMT visa consultant
- Proof of occupation or employment (if currently employed)
- Proof of return/onward flight ticket
- Proof of funds for your stay in South Korea: bank statements for the last 6 months | Income Tax Returns for last 2 years | salary slips for last 1 year
- For business owners: company’s Income Tax Returns for last 3 years | company registration document | business profile details, as per format
- For proprietors: personal Income Tax Returns for last 3 years | company registration document | business profile details, as per format

Do Indians need a visa for visiting South Korea?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Indians need a visa for entering South Korea, except for Jeju Island.
You will not need a visa if:
- You arrive at/depart from Jeju Island
- Do not visit or transit through any other part of South Korea

Once I arrive at South Korea, what will be the immigration process?

All visitors above the age of 17 must fill in an arrival card & register their biometrics at immigration. Having a valid visa does not guarantee entry. The final decision to approve or deny entry to the country lies solely with the South Korean immigration authorities.

What happens if my visa gets rejected? Will I get a refund of my visa fee?

Applicants can reapply after 3 months. The reason for visa rejection will be shared by the embassy. The MMT Visa Consultant is available for further assistance.
Visa fee is non-refundable, even if the visa is rejected.

I had planned to visit Seoul & Jeju Island. But my visa was rejected. Can I still visit Jeju Island?

Accepted Answer

Yes. You can still visit Jeju Island if and only if you fly directly to and from Jeju Island without visiting any other part of Korea.

Can I extend my visa? What is the process for visa extension?

Accepted Answer

A visa can be extended for an additional 30 days by filing an application, at least 3 days before the current visa’s validity ends. Extensions can be made online or by requesting an appointment at the Immigration Office.

Will I have to return to the visa processing office to collect my passport?

The passport will be sent by courier to your address.
