Submission of fingerprints and digital photograph is known as biometrics enrolment for visa applications.

A digital fingerprint scanner collects images of all 10 fingers.

Fingertips must not have any forms of decoration such as mehndi, cuts, abrasions or other markings that may affect the finger scans.

A digital photograph is taken as per specifications. Your face should be clearly visible; hair should not be across your face.

Who are eligible to apply for Schengen visa from India?

Indian passport holders residing outside India must apply from the country where they are currently living.
